… goes to Deepti Gupta. There, my heart missed a beat. I was hoping to get this award, and my ears were waiting to hear my name, but when it happened, I could not believe it was real! Receiving the Parenting Blogger of the Year award feels like whatever I have done till now as a blogger has been validated and acknowledged.
Radiance Women Awards, an initiative by Pooja Mihani and Mridula Khanna, recognizes the contribution of women active in different fields to make a significant change in the lives of the people. On 23rd January 2025, they honored several women for their amazing contributions during the Radiance Woman Awards ceremony.
Being one of them was a humbling experience for me. Isn’t it amazing that both the powerful women (Pooja and Mridula ), chose to empower other women? 👏

A Day before the Radiance Women Awards Ceremony
Being shortlisted for the Parenting Blogger Award was enough to make me go crazy with happiness 😊 But, but but, the bigger issue was visiting the function which made me confused and edgy. I would rather stay behind the screen and text to stay connected. 😅
Going out of my comfort zone, and visiting
the ceremony was giving me goosebumps, actually!
And then, standing in front of an overflowing wardrobe, I was tense as I had nothing to wear! 😊 There jumped in my daughter and we tried various outfits that would suit me for the occasion. After several trials, we finalized this outfit. That’s a victory, you know!
The best part was my daughter and hubby chose to be with me irrespective of the outcome. Isn’t this amazing?
The Morning of 23 January 2025- The Award Ceremony
Last-minute handling of workload is a specialty of
mine like other moms, I guess. No help was available for the morning rush- had
to prepare breakfast, tidy up rooms, do the essential chores, and move out
looking great. With the help of my daughter and hubby, just managed to do
everything and set out for the occasion.
I tell you when your kids are rooting for you the
journey becomes so much fun. Here, I am talking about my daughter who was super
excited to join me, click me in different poses, and make videos to help me out
with content creation later. She did all that and more with so much enthusiasm!
Coming to the event, that was buzzing with the
presence of impactful women who made a difference in their fields. Being in such
a community, interaction, and sharing experiences were the highlight of the
event. Creating mental health awareness was the major point of discussion at
the Radiance Women Awards.

Awards were announced one after another and it was a pleasure to know what these award-winning figures have created. Not just winners, I would say, each one of them was a powerhouse of their kind.

priceless, especially coming from your kid, isn’t it?
Later, the award for my category was announced and the
rest is, as we say, history!
